Default Is it for sale?

Seems everytime I've had my 69 out, I get that question. Funny thing, they never show me the money. LOL I told one guy: "I know what it's worth. I know what it's worth to me. What is it worth to you?". He couldn't come up with an answer of any type. I'm starting to think that owning a nice C3 is like owning a car lot. Sure see a lot of tire kickers. Or maybe it's just a way of people complimenting the car.

Want a straight answer next time? Say "Yes and the price is $$$", and be willing to sign the paperwork. Otherwise, just say no, thanks and drive on. Is the car really for sale or not?

Everything has a price... When i get that question on a car I like to throw a stupid high number out. Maybe one day someone will bite...if not, no sweat.

now that is true.

I sold the 68 when prices were stupid high.
now the prices are so low in comparison that
it takes crazy money to get a car right only to
never get it back at sale.

My answer would be, as others have said, everything is for sale at the right price... If someone wants to pay me a stupid price for my car I just can't see my way of turning it down, heck I may be able to buy another Vette and pocket some money, or at least have money for mods or power adders

I cant find the "attachments" icon on the go advanced reply. (Looks like a paperclip) This isn't one of those forums where you have to have something like photobucket is it?
