I one of those strange old farts that has his foot in both camps.
My 91 240sx 5 speed. I am getting together the parts to do an RB25det swap on it in the near future. I will never sell it. Like the Vette. I'm leaving it to my kids. Every kid in the area is dying to get their hands on it.

Yeah it has no windshield. I removed it to paint the car about two years ago. I painted it 2012 Nissan Frost Pearl White.

It takes "a few years" to develop an appreciation for those "old C3 cars"......................LOL!

Congrats to the 30 and under crowd for "Taking the leap"!

I'm 42 here, and I'm guessing I won't skew the stats too much. I had a few project cars when younger ('67 and '71 Camaro, '66 Mustang, '73 911 + some bikes) but because of my job I couldn't live through continuous traffic tickets. I spent 10-15 years in Jeeps, Broncos and Trucks...I figure now I'm either mature enough to refrain from stupidity or wise enough to pick better moments...? My '68 is my first Corvette.

Just turned 29, had the '68 for a few years now. My DD is a '07 Civic SI, so I have my feet in both camps too. The Corvette is loud and fun, but the Civic is reliable and awesome at 8500RPMs.

Ive yet to actually meet another <30 c3 owner in person.

Most of my age group grew up on "The Fast and Furious". Honda civics with body kits were the common theme when I was in highschool.

I was the kid with dirty finger nails and a 67 Plymouth Satellite that looked like it had been through hell. Literaly "been through hell" ... electrical fire had gutted the car and I started rebuilding it.

Im 35 and got my first corvette, a white 74, a couple of months ago. Im not in the under 30 crowd but my age group is still fairly small. I am often one of the younger ones at local cruises and shows.
