My Progress Todate:
Been working on getting the paint off of my '81 and have all of the interior removed and both doors gutted.
First time ever taking the door internals out....going to be interesting getting everything back in there......
Getting the rear glass out was a bit of a chore, but it is out and in one piece.
I left the driver's seat belt in as I will put the seat back in and drive car to the paint shop...MAYBE??....I may flat-bed it if too far away.
Here is where I am at:

What a job. Your sweat and attention to detail on the things a lot of people ignore will pay off many times over in the end. Good luck and keep us posted.By the way, what color is it gonna be?

I just noticed in my pictures I still have the two sun visors to take out!!!
As far as body color???....well the car was originally white....then repainted white with a clear coat.....and I was going to go black as the interior has black in with the Cinnabar.....but....not sure yet. I may just go back to original white as I have matte black sidepipes on it...at this moment anyways.
What other body color goes with Cinnabar interior???

I do not see red as a possible color...just does not go with the Cinnabar interior color.
Actually I have only seen three colors from the factory with the Cinnabar; Frost Biege, Metalic Maghony, and of course White. I have not seen any Black with Cinnabar, so I could be creating a "one-of" or making a big mistake!
I have lots of work ahead of me before I must make a decision, so I have time to change my mind many times.
