rear strut
I'm rebuilding the rear suspension on my 1975 and decided to go with the poly adjustable struts from Willcox (x2464) instead for the the original style ones. Both of my struts had a Bow in them. I thought this would make it easier for the Mechanic the adjust the camber when i get my alignment and it would keep a better alignment. Mistake or Upgrade?

Does "decided" mean you've already purchased the poly?

I have the poly adj rods they have been fine .install was easy .have not had any sqeeks .the new rods made a big difference on handling because the old ones were so bad .I hope the poly last longer than the rubber .

FWIW, I installed poly bushings in OE strut rods on a C-3 quite some time ago. I had no issues.....

However i like to take my car to the track every now and then so have tried a number of different settings on my struts and wouldnt change back to non adjustable.
But for normal street use and a burnout every now and then i think the original type will du just fine.

Here is what you have to check with poly bushings. I used them in my stock struts in 1988 and I removed them and checked them this January. They wear out the hole inside, which I did not feel any difference in. I put new poly's in, because they install without a press. I had noticed the gap on the differential end of the strut rods, where they wore more than the outer side. Hope this helps. Lou.
