Check engine light on a 81
I am helping a friend with his 81 the check engine light comes on after 15 minutes of running then sometimes goes off and stays off and sometimes it comes on and stays on, what do you thing is the most likely reason ? thanks

The ECM is determining an error condtion. It should post an error code on the computer.
