Found my Courtesy timer , not where you think
I am sure some of you saw some of my posts about my light issue . My lights stay on all the time on my 1978 L48 . So I have been going crazy looking for the courtesy timer . The timer is supposed to be located behind the glove box . Well after some looking today we found it behind the drivers side dash behind the instrument cluster . I must be the only guy with a 78 that has the timer in that spot . So we took it out and are going to do a bypass tomorrow and be done with it . I am so happy we found it . What a relief .

The suspicion was that the very early 78 cars might have been behind that cluster... I've never seen one there before.
Did you take any pics of it??? And glad you found it.

I did not take pics . My friend (shop foreman) pulled the a/c vent on the drivers side . He said that it was closer to the a pillar rather than behind the cluster .
