Default Unusual T-tops

Last Sunday I was at the Dover Drag Strip Reunion Drags and car show at Lebanon Valley Dragway in New Lebanon, NY when walking through the shop area I saw this 76 coupe with there unusual T-tops. They had a clear center that looked like they could be detached with the maim part of the T-top still attached. Was this some sort of aftermarket mod? I never seen anything like them before.

They're called Astro-Tops.
Looks like they just painted the edges.

From what I've been told on this forum, they are actually called moonroofs and they were manufactured by Saratoga.

I have a set but mine need to be painted to match the color of my car.

They are Saratoga Tops, and marketed them as Moonroofs.

I've a pair. The good thing about them is if you're tall, you get extra head room. Also, if you've had them stored for a zilliion years, the chrome on the latches is still like new!!!!!!

If anyone is looking for a set and lives in the Indiana area...

I ended up with a set of Moon Roofs when I acquired my '73. Previous owner had them painted to match the car. I'd like to use them but the hardware is in bad shape, is in a bag, and I'm not certain is all there anyway. I compared the parts to the factory tops but the hardware is not the same and won't work with the Moon Roofs.

If anyone knows of a parts diagram and/or a source for parts for these Moon Roofs, please let me know. Pics of hardware would also be nice to have.
