Replacement Wheels
My ’68 experiences a noticeable vibration at about 52 mph that improves around 60. The vibration is a function of vehicle speed, not engine RPM. I had a shop look at wheel/tire balance today (factory rally wheels). In two cases, with the wheel spinning on the balance machine, the wheels show fairly significant run-out. Replacement rally wheels are not expensive, but I’m a little apprehensive about reproductions. Has anyone had luck with a specific source for replacement steel rally wheels? Thanks.
