White Vette's have historically been the largest sellers. If you look at production numbers,..there have been more white Vettes sold every year than any other color.
I thnk you've got some bad data.

It took me a while to find a white one and like it alot. I like black, but I didn't like having to wash it all the time.

After 22 months of frustration and thousands of dollars I am faced with this problem. Might as well donate to Goodwill.

I live in West Texas and always prefer the lighter colors due to the heat. Black will burn you on a hot summer day. I don't like climbing into an oven either. Had a black 66 years ago when I lived in NC. Was a beautiful car, though a mouse could walk by and fart, dusting the paint.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I know you don't need me to tell you that so don't blast me for my comment, but I offer that your "observation" is an extension of your personal taste and opinion about white Vettes. Why would every year Corvette, since 1953 be offered in white if white was a detriment? Just my opinion on your opinion.
And what closed the deal for me on my '75 is that it is white.

Mine is white, not interested in selling it anytime soon. I love the color.
