I Went Crazy With The Rattle Can Today
Spent some quality time with the '77 the past couple days. After successfully replacing the bad starter yesterday, I went crazy with the rattle can today.
First I pulled the grills... cleaned them up and blasted them in flat black.
Next onto the bumperettes. You can see how horrible they looked.
Light sanding...
Masking...
This is the paint I used...
Not perfect, but much better than they were...
While I was at it... I pulled the lower fairing and sprayed it too.
I did the back bumpertettes too, but here's a pic of the front end. Overall, a big improvement I think.
