Who did you buy your Vintageair AC system from?

Default Who did you buy your Vintageair AC system from?

Hey Guys

For those that have purchased a Vintageair setup in their cars, who did you buy it from?

I don't need the compressor or brackets and I am going with the Modified hoses so I can adapt it to their FrontRunner setup.

So far my best offer shipped to my door is $1100. Has anyone dealt with a reseller with a good price and good service?

I bought mine from a local speed shop.....under $1,000 including tax.

EDIT: O000000ps.....I re-read the post..."shipped to my door"......$1100 is a good price!

Did yours include the compressor and brackets? I am getting the kit without the brackets and compressor as I dont need them so the kit should be cheaper by about 300 without the compressor and brackets.

I paid 870.21 for everything from the firewall and inside. I have not purchased the engine compartment stuff yet. My 73 was a AC car so the kit came with the plate for the hole from org ac.

I have vintageair's Frontrunner serpentine system on my engine so I have the compressor. My car is a non ac car so I need the evap, condensor/dryer and I am gona use their modified hose kit to make up my own lines. Seems I need to source a good standard barrier hose bubble crimper next.

That's what I'm wanting to put on my 73, but it's not cheep... I had sticker shock when I was quoted the price for the rest of the system with the frontrunner system..

Default Roger Lewis Makeover.

I got my complete system from Roger Lewis Makeover the best installer/dealer here in Texas. I paid $1395.00 plus $60 for the polish compressor upgrade, plus$115.91 for taxes. He gave me a $50.00 discount and saved me $80.00 on Shipping charges. and on top of that he converted my control panel and crimped my hoses refused to charge me extra and offered any help if I got stuck during the install!! Great Man, Hes on our Christmas list now!!

I bought mine from rodpartsdealer on eBay. $1285 shipped to my door for the complete kit. Was the best price I could find.
