What happened to TheBlackvette and his 71?
As excited as he was about his new found 71, he sure did disappear quickly? He was a little on the loud side, but put it all out there for us all to read. Hopefully, he will read this and return?

I hope he's not still wearing that "tutu" while driving the Vette....

I was thinking the same thing lately. He was posting videos showing how tilt steering worked and how stock mufflers sounded. He had a problem with his ignition and disappeared. I wish him well too I hope he didn't give up after one little problem! If that was the case I would have been gone a million times by now.

He started posting on the NCRS forum but has quit there also. His posts got a little redundant there as here. basically he would ask the same question over & over to keep the thread alive as he did here. I was a little short with a reply after he keep asking the same thing over & over. Sent me a PM saying he didn't appreciate my comments so maybe it was me. His threads were entertaining & People liked to respond so I hope he comes back. He was really getting into the NCRS so maybe he is busy getting his 71 ready for judging. OK let the beating began.

maybe he's taking a break. sometimes I get caught up in my other cars or hobbies and I don't visit this site for months at a time. (I can only concentrate on one project at a time)

He waited years to find the "right" 1971. He may have become discouraged with some initial technical setbacks. We all have those moments. But with spring in the air the Corvette feeling will come back.

Hey everyone! I am okay!!!!!
I been on several trips. Particularly in the northeast. Got caught up in the snow and I am going on a couple of more. Leaving this week again for another trip.
The '71 is safe and sound in the garage. I still have to get time to bring the car in to finish up repairs and all. I started it the other day and it works great. But there are some minor issues. All I care about is that the car is safe and sound....
I contacted a well respected person in my area to really look at the car. I think exposingtime uses him exclusively. I have to get my car there over one weekend for him to look at it. But i am off to another trip again. Ughhhh.
I am here and all is well. Thanks for checking on me.

I don't dislike you but I can recall one time you got your feathers ruffled when I was asking about carburetors here on THIS forum but didn't over on the ncrs. I guess when it comes to KENBA you can't win either way. You just have to live with it.
I am certain with 100 percent guarantee if you met me in person at before you would have not made such comments. It is amazing what people will say on an online forum to others that they never met in person. I don't fault you for that as I have been guilty of the same thing so if I really gave you a bunch of crap I would only become a hippocrite. it is all good!!!!! Enough of our dirty laundry. Nobody gives a $hhhhit about our love fest.
In other news, I got my build sheet authenticated by the document services manager. It was in the mail when I got home. It is a VERY NICE document. Now I can get my Delivery Shipment document redone as the build sheet clearly shows what the delivery dealer was for my car.
