Default Restoring seats

I have a pair of C4 seats that are very nice and solid, but they have the normal cracking in the leather. I would like to have them recovered in the future, but the budget needs to be focused on things that I need and not what I want right now.
So... Any recommendations on making them look better until I can get them recovered, or better yet make them look good enough to keep?
I can't take some photos if that will help, but I think you guys know what I am talking about.
Thanks,
Brent

There is a Wheeler Dealer episode where they have a pair of seats refurbished by spraying some sort of paint/filler stuff.
Alas I can't find the episode, all I remember is that the seat were blue.

I bought complete seat cushions with new foam. Covers are already attached to the seats and ready to drop in.

I also need new seats for my 1993 from the same company.
