Non-original carb, no good pix of anything, and that's a lot of money. I'll pass.

“Absolutely pristine condition....Must see to believe!!!!!!”

Then what happened to the ignition shielding? Is it in safekeeping?

Hi Casey,

That's a quick judgement on an LS6. What could this seller do to make you consider otherwise?

TBV,

Still looking? I know you do not have buyer's remorse...

I always look at 1971 corvettes!

They are my favorite C3 car. Also, isn't okay to look but not touch?

Why do you believe this is the same car? The VINs seem to state otherwise...

EDIT: I see the link now. I think he is providing that so you can see how much LS6s go for.

I think this applies to fast women, not fast cars.

I am sick and tired of all the false information being spread around by uninformed sellers / owners of these so called LS6 Corvettes. I've been involved with the LS6 survey since 1987 and the facts stated are hogwash.

I think that the camera is wearing beer goggles. Or I am wearing beer goggles. Either way, some clarity would provide some clarity...?

Well TWO different cars then.

Both LS6s. The barrett Jackson one has a radio? HUH?

And the one in the ebay ad is in original pristine condition but has the wrong carb, and missing ignition shielding?

Yep at first I thought the same car. But does two wrongs make a right?

But, if the original owner ordered it without U69/U79, it wouldn't have ignition shielding. Just like that ZR1.

Okay very well. Then the carb that is not correct. How do you explain that being in original pristine condition for this car?

LOL! I had a chance to buy a honest-to-god complete running original '69 L-88 several years ago for $2500. THAT is one I have buyer's remorse about.

The carb is originally a Holley, in pristine condition...?

By the way, I do believe non U69/U79 cars still had the ignition shielding brackets, since those are secured with the intake manifold bolts. They seem to be missing as well.

Goodnight!

What was the reason you didn't buy it? Even if it was a complete rust bucket falling apart, as long as it had the engine, trans and rear. It would have been worth buying for sure. Just the ignition would paid for the car if you parted it out.

If you ever run accross a car like that and didn't want it, Please post it on here, one of your CF brothers would love to have a car like that.

Pete,

Offering a real LS-6 for sale would be a step in the right direction.
