Hi abp,
You get a car that looks like THAT to put in your garage, and all we get is TWO pictures?
I'll bet the hood opens, and I'll bet there's an interior, too! Those pictures are coming. Right!
That looks like a BEAUTY!
Regards,
Alan

The prior owner is shipping me the original numbers matching engine and transmission.
It's a 415ci Dart SHP CNC hyd roller, Tremec 600, coil overs, Tom's differential, Wilwood 6 piston brake system, etc. It drives really good. Drove it 1400 miles from Orange County CA to Texas Monday and Tuesday. Just cleaned it up!

EDIT: Pacific Coast Highway. No, we pointed the nose east and hit it. Believe me, I wish we could have stayed, but they ain't lying when they say LA traffic sucks..
It was a little intense, but the overdrive and 500+lb/ft of torque made it fun.
And it averaged 17mpg!
Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Feels good to be back in a vette. The car has more trick mods than I can count. I have a two inch binder of all the work he did.

Hi abp,
Very Interesting!
I see the lines for the pvc valve and vapor canister are still hooked up to this carb.
Is that because this car still needed to pass the California emissions testing?
Good Luck as you get to know and enjoy it!

Alan

California smog is not an issue with 25+ year old cars. I have never had to smog my 72 since buying it 5 years ago.

Terrorizing Orange Cones
Restomod C3's are fun to gander at and this one is a really sweet piece.
The Pacific Coast Highway would have been a blast to cruise on before heading home. It won't go anywhere (in theory) so that you can return another time, to enjoy.
Congrats on the new acquisition. That's very cool.
