Default Car sitting high.

My 80 was sitting higher than I would like. I cut 1/2 coil off the front and it sits about the same. I may take the springs out and cut another half off. The rear also sits higher than I would like. I added the longer adjustment bolts and have them almost to the end of the bolt. Which way do I go to lower. Also I added adjustable strut rods to the back would that have anything to do with the car not sitting lower.

Have you driven it after this? It will take a couple miles for the suspension to settle.

You must drive it around town to give the suspension a good work-out.

If you cut more off the coil springs, make sure the bottom end of the coil sits in the depression against the stop in the lower control arm!

Then drive it around town again....the front end will need to be aligned once you lower the car to your liking.
