Took a nice drive on a cold 35 degree night here in NJ the LS5 loves that cold air ran great. Love the winter drives as long no salt is on ground. Took a few pics and some video.

Mine is a 69, born as a Riverside Gold and a 350/300. But, somewhere along it's lifeline, something happened to that 350/300, obviously. Somebody found a 71 LS-5 from a 4 speed Corvette, and transplanted it in to the car I now own.
I saw the ad in the paper for the car. It said 69 Corvette with 454. I put the paper down thinking that 454's didn't come in that car until 70. I took about 3 or 4 steps and turned around a took the number and put it in my phone. I called the next day, and we have been friends for almost 10 years now.
I'm almost done with the motor rebuild (it got to the point that it would overheat in half a mile). This is what the car looked like when I bought it. It's not perfect by any means, but it's a 3 or 4 footer!!
