When I was trying to install my cruse control ( into a car not equipped w/ cruse) I was looking for a diagram then, did not find one. so I guessed my way through it.
Under dash
1) a connector 2 prong went to the brake light switch at the peddle.
2) connector went to the wire from the steering column.
3) one goes to the fuse block, Ign.
Engine bay
1) 3 wire connector goes to the transducer
2) where does the other wire go?????

I tied that wire to the brake distrib.block..Now I have a brake warning light that stays on all the time....disconnected that and the light is off.

The AIM is no help in this subject.

Evan is it is a simple hand drawn diagram, any help.

PS; the other wire from the transducer was a ground, so it was grounded....Maybe I do not need a diagram>>

In 1978 GM only had a general service manual which included corvette's but I purchased the offical 1979 GM Service Manual for the 1979 corvette. Has everything you need and is corvette only.

Not sure if they are still available. Bought this in 1980.
