Hello everyone,

I am buying a 1979 L82 corvette tomorrow, went through the entire car and drove it today (around town and highway - straight and smooth), really looking forward to owning this car. It is my first Vette, I have had other muscle cars (Novas and Camaros), but have always wanted a Vette.

The car has a well documented restoration, 4 years old, only 2,000 miles on it since complete. Pictures included of motor being pulled and rebuilt, trans also, with new clutch and pressure plate. I checked the VIN and stamp on passenger side head, motor is original and it is an L82 / 4 speed car. (Paint, exhaust, brakes, etc all done at the same time)..

Ok, so question time - I have researched online, but what else should I be looking for on this car before pulling the trigger? Any common issues or anything I should be ware of?
