The new engine should be done and back in by then. Couldn't make Neptunes, the new block hugger headers were supposed to go in, because even at 8 PM, with the T-tops off and on the freeway, my feet were still frying!

A lifter and a cam lobe got wiped. Since we have to pull the radiator, water pump, and hood, we figured we might as well put an engine in. We have no idea of exactly how many miles are on the original L48, because it came with a zero'd out speedo, but it's got some miles on it. The extra block we have was a fresh 0.20 rebuild that never got installed and we're going to go 0.30 over. It is a four bolt main. Going to use the aluminum L98 heads, but will install 2.02 valves, as well as balancing and blueprinting. I want 375 - 400 at the crank. We're also going to install serpentine belt set up from the 1989-1990 V8 Caprice. Dropping it off next week on Friday. Then the new block huggers and a new exhaust system to fix the idiot installation that it has now (misrouted POS).
