Default Fiber optic connection help

I have fiber optic lines that are just hanging loose up around my headlights. What is the best way to reconnect these? Can you buy new ends and is there some way to connect them to the old lines? I really don't want to replace the entire lines. Thanks for any help. -Mark

Headlight FO lines plug into the rear of the wiring connectors. Older light capsules had a nib on the rear which showed a bit of light which the FO picked up. Modern replacement capsules do not have the nibs.

Hi Mark,
You don't really say just what parts are missing for the headlight connections.
Both ZIP and CC have some fiber optic parts individually but I don't know if they have what you need.
Also, is it just the headlight parts or is it the parking light parts too?
Regards,
Alan

Thanks, Alan. I guess I need to get in there and really try to figure it out. At first look, I just see some fiber optic wire hanging down with their ends exposed. On the ends I can see the actual fibers frayed and spread out. Some are headlights and some are parking lights. The only problems are on the front, all the rear ones are working correctly.

Hi MMJ,
Here are the connectors for the parking lights.

Thanks, Alan, great photos. So if I can buy those ends, is there an easy way to attach them? They look like they are crimped on at the factory. And I'm sure the headlight ones were probably crimped into the plug that connects to the bulb also, right?

if the actual fibers are old, mangled, frayed,
get a "New" razor blade and squarely cut about 1/8" off the fiber optic.
it will work just fine like this, use a flaslight to test the fiberoptic cables.
if your careful you can remove and reinstall the crimp ends.
good luck,
