An old industrial grinder. My buddy has it from the town twenty years ago. The town got it old. I'd say its 60 years old. But damn that thing works wonders. I'm still looking for those chrome pull out ***** for the A/C *****. Anyone know where I can find them? And the correct name they go by? Thanks.

In my experience, they are threaded.

Additionally, has anyone modified the gas pedal to better suit heel and toe downshifting? I am enjoying doing that in my lady-friend's Mini, but I just can't get it to work properly in the Corvette.

what do you mean by heel and toe downshifting.
Like make the pedal more loose or have more play to press or pick up pedal

Under hard brakes, keeping the ball and toes of your foot on the brake pedal and blipping the throttle with your heel. It gives you nice, clean downshifts that don't unbalance the car.

Also they are kinda fun to do. The Corvette just doesn't seem to have the right spacing between the pedals for it.

they are early 68 to 72 with pads and trim. brake pedal is the same an all years (auto) and the gas pedal should work if it worked on mine. All that's holding the gas pedal in place is a pin with a spring. I think the carbon fiber would look cool on it.

the gas pedal should be no problem. the brake pedal shows a different figure in it but I would think it can be changed out. But hopefully someone can chime in.
