I just got home from Carlisle. I didn't bring camera this year. It wasn't that crowded due to overcast weather, but I had fun anyway. The few c3's I saw were priced at fair value. I saw a few c5's that were practically on sale (lol). The c7's were everywhere and looked amazing. Chevrolet brought two 2015 Z06's ... I'm still shaking ! I saw tons of vettes heading towards Carlisle as I drove home, so I think tomorrow will see a much bigger turnout.

Great request jr9170 and thanks to Jay71 for the update.
Too bad the OP's circumstances doesn't allow a restart to his long attendance record.
This event is one on my bucket list. Maybe someday...

Just got back to the hotel room. I think attendance picked up as the day wore on. People I am with said it was one of the biggest turnouts they have seen in years. I have never seen so many Corvettes in one place. Not so many C3's, but a bunch of newer ones and pricing seems good. Several bargains to be had if the money was there. Lot's of prime vendors on site with lots to sell. This is my first and won't be the last for sure!

I took a handful of random shots but did not take good photos as I was very busy plus dodging rain... sorry for the small sample...
Formerly Toby Keith's tour bus pulling a 6 car rig...
cool huge artwork:
A couple cool cars in our lot:
$450? Uh, nah...
beautiful black SWC in the corral:
My view during the hardest rain on Sat AM, in the swap area:

An early 67 barn find, being sold in an auction format...
This custom we dubbed the creature Was actually owned for a while by a friend of mine 6 years or so ago... Before it was painted

Burning Brakes
In 70BBVert's 6th picture, the silver 69 in the back ground was all orignial super low miles (I forget how many, maybe less than 1000) and asking $90,000. The Elkhart Green 72 LT1 was an air car I think in the upper 60s

You know something that really bothers me about Carlisle and why I don't bring my cars into the fair grounds is all the loose rocks and pebals. As people walk around they kick all the loose stuff and I'm sure some cars come away with paint damage.
