My 69 427 390hp ttop garage find value
Hello everyone, Im new to this site and also kinda new to the corvette world. I have had a few in the past but just to buy and sell.
I purchased a 69 427 390hp vette a few days ago. Appears to be all original except for a few easy thing that are missing. it has been sitting for a long time in a garage. I bought it from the son as his parents had passed a few years ago and he was interested in it.
I'm fighting my self weather to keep it or sell it and use the money for one of my other cars that is close to being done.
For the car. It is a 427 390hp. car from what I can tell. The man who owned it was the original owner. It looks very very complete and original under the hood, except for headers.
has aftermarket rims on it. Automatic car and has T-Tops.
The body good except by the DS front fender looks like tire came off and wheel well is craked up, (very fixable)
Car is cortez silver with Tan interior.
I will be working on seeing if it runs this weekend.
What would a project like this be worth?
Thanks in advance !

Nice find good thing you rescued it before that garage collapsed on it.
It looks like previous owner let allot of things go

I would say that if it ran and drove, good brakes, and was a driving car…it would be worth $17K+ … but do some researching and one can find a '69 427/ 4 speed coupe or convertible for low $20s in pretty nice shape. Some better than others. If it had a frame off, and the entire car was restored then it would be worth more (like 30-40K +) and of course the options the car reflects the value.

I pulled the plugs and oiled it up a little, not sure how long is was sitting. Hopefully tomorrow I will get some time to work on it.
as for the interior, it is complete but the seats are worn pretty good.
