Forgot something this morning....
My t tops!!! And it's down pouring!!!
Good thing I work at a dealer, I have the car in the service drive waiting for rain to stop so I can go home. It's only supposed to be a passing thunder storm.
I looked at Monday's forecast and saw no rain. Stupid holiday messed me all up, I would have drove my G5 if I knew

Drifting
We are on the east coast where the weather report changes daily. We are on the east coast where it rains 40% of the time and chance of rain the other 60%. I used to be able to leave my vette outside for days at a time without having to worry about rain. Had enough of the east coast. I will be retiring in Southern Arizona in the next 4 years. No more rain no more snow.

Burning Brakes
3 weeks ago I got caught 5 miles from home without tops in worst thunderstorm in south Georgia history. I rolled up windows and drove fast as I dared. Got it back in garage will very little water inside. 1 towel was plenty to mop it dry and I didn't even need to change clothes. Now If I got behind someones granny I would have been soaked.

I made it home. it cleared up right around 5. I got stuck at a light under a tree. the wind blew and some water rained down on me from the leaves, that's the only time I got wet the whole 90 minute drive.

And on the bright side, I'll bet you're the only one in the neighborhood with a swimming pool that will run 100 MPH!

I got a set of bags for my tops. They stay in the back.
I have been caught in the rain once. Got the tops on before it started, need wiper blades but I made it home, and my tops did not leak.
Second closest, kinda got caught. Took it to work we got a sprinkle, but put the tops on before car was parked the whole time, barely enough to get the ground wet.
Rarely ever put my tops on, but I like to know I have them.
