Default Leather-Like Seat Covers, Are They Breathable?

Are the leather-like covers breathable like the leather covers or are they non breathable like vinyl?

I`ve been thinking about these also. Paul, how long have you had them, and how are they holding up as far as wear & tear?

It's been about five years and I can't say there is wear and tear. But I only drive ~1,500 miles/year. There is some sun fade at the tops but being a convertible, and only driven in the sun, I expected that. When I bought those covers way back when I believe they were only $211 a set from Willcox (via Corvette America). A real bargain! No complaints.

No, they don't breathe. I've had mine on my '74 for two years and they're 'leather like', but they're not leather, nor do they have that smooth slickness that you can count on, with leather. My '96 C4 has leather, so I'm exposed to both.

Next time, I'll just get the leather.

They are smooth and slick. But I agree, if you have the money, Al Knoch leather would be better.

I second this opinion...And Al`s leather is the best
