Default grey rubber piece that contacts courtesy light

I'm looking for the small grey rubber piece that mounts against the inside edge of the door, that makes contact against the body pin switch. Suggestions? This is for one of my '71's.

Yes. I was calling it by the wrong term. It's the door ajar light switch pad. Paragon Reproduction carries it. Part number 2197K. The picture appears to be exact, so I'll probably order it. I tried Paragon Vintage but they said they did not have any used examples.

Hi ES,
My 71 (mid-January) had the pads originally.
Although by the time I started the restoration the pads had fallen off, the remains of the adhesive (in the shape of a square) was still there.
I bought a pair from ? which are clear.
I've seen the gray pads on cars too, but aren't sure if they were originals or someone else's repro.
Regards,
Alan

Hi Alan,
I'm only missing the passenger side switch pad on one of my LS6' s. I still have two originals on one car and one original on the other. All three are a grayish color. I was trying to find a used original, without much success at the present.

69FASTFUN,
Thanks for that link! I couldn't remember the proper term for that piece, and so I couldn't find it in their catalogue, so I called them.

Hi ES,
I'd be very interested in hearing you thoughts about what you receive from Paragon.
If they're good, I'll update mine!
Regards,
Alan
