Default Black C3 with black torq thrust 2 style wheels

I found a couple threads that had pictures that I guess had expired. I really like the black wheels with chrome lip but the all chrome looks pretty awesome to. Id like to see pictures on steel bumper cars but any c3 should give me an idea which i like best. I like torq thrust but coy, boss, and a bunch of other brands are all similar. My new to me 68 is supposed to be here week after next and needs new wheels and tires so I might as well have some here waiting on it.

Black 78 with torque thrust II. I looked at the Torque Thrust D but liked the chrome with the black car. Kind of a Harley look.

I put longer bolts in the back springs to lower since this picture. Also just put B F Goodrich T/A's on it recently

I've seen one and didn't care for it. Depending on the look you're after...old school; I vote gray centers...street machine; I vote polished...but to each his own. Just my opinion...

I really dont care for the gray centers... Im thining about when I repaint doing it the hot rod black thats more of a satin black instead of a flat but all ive seen is rubber bumpers cars in the satin black. I wonder if with the chrome bumpers and chrome wheels if it will look good

Here is a pic of my 69 Daytona Yellow with black center and chrome rim. I think they would look great on a black 68.

Looks really good!

But to the OP, keep in mind that there are several "varieties" of American "Torque Thrusts". The ones in this picture, I believe, are the T70s....

Yes, they are T70's; they have the polished outer lips with the satin spokes. I think they accent the side gill trim on the car.

Man your car looks pretty awesome! I get what your saying about the gill accent. It's hard to tell in the picture but I bet in person it's more noticeable.

Yea I just like the 5 spike wheel. Torq thrust is the one most people here seem to use. I just don't care for the modern day wheels with stuff going everywhere. I like a clean classic look.

Yes, they do. However, their spoke design is a bit different than the more familiar 'Torque Thrust Ds'.
