1978 Anniversary! Drove it a couple hours home yesterday and the smile never left my face.

Thanks! Ive never really been a "car" guy but this is the most fun Ive ever had driving. Im graduating college after spending 8 years in the Marines and it was a gift. Ear to Ear smiles

Is that a relatively new engine? Looks like a big block...and the exhaust tips pointing down must give a nice sound. Congrats.

Engine has been rebuilt. 5.7L 350Cu. In. V8, just over 400 hp and its super loud when its running. That rumble is just lovely.

Yes, car shows start to wind down in the fall. But with cooler weather and no salt/sand on the roads from ice and snow yet, it's great to take a drive. I like taking my vette out now in the cooler weather--better than 90+ degrees and high humidity IMO.
