Hi jr,
Boy! Parts of my head are very dense.
Until seeing your picture I never processed that the closed lid would require the 2 stickers till the end of 70 production. Couldn't just switch to the 71's single sticker!
That's quite a 'sophisticated' 'fit' for the hp band on that lid!
Thanks!!!
Regards,
Alan

Just thinking out loud other than the cool factor of the air cleaner sticker, there is no turbo under the hood and or a jet. The cloest I can come up with is the Th 400 tranny and the q jet carb, but not sure about the turbo jet together it is just marketing, as they are buzz words of the jet age and technology. Anyone care to elaborate on the Turbo-Jet Monkier.

Joe,that's why I am curious as mine is vin14398 and account to the judging manual the ignition shielding is box type up until mid16000 vins than the one piece type, but I have seen them earlier like mine.

Love the green, great color on this gen., has a very nostalgic feel to it. Very clean engine bay, lots going on with the compression /ac lines on the passanger side. I would welcome factory air in my car, but having a engine bay were you can see the block, head,ex manifold and little or no smog gear is a thing of beauty. Your car looks very well taken care of.

I have used the AC on a couple occasions, but I would happily trade it for power steering.

First day for the air cleaner but maybe it will help if folks are looking at other things.
Zoomin, I don't have any pics of the Laguna Gray. but will get some. If I remember right his was a very late car in July.
