Just got my wheels and tires today, just waiting on the right lugs. Need to lower the rear a bit but it hasn't been driven yet. Hoping it settles enough. Seats should be done tomorrow and on the road it goes. Can't wait!

Nice! I notice you have your bumpers glassed in. Did you do that? I getting ready to start that task on mine

Thank you all. The rear is now lowered. i replaced the 6"ers with 8"ers and that brought it down to 28.5" to the top of the wheel lip all the way around. I'm very pleased. Pics later. Yes I glassed them in myself. This car didn't seem like a basket case when I got it. However, there were 22 different colors of paint laid down on top of each other, avg 3 coats/color---66 coats of paint + one VERY thick layer of bondo over the entire car mixed in just to make it fun. Front bumper had to be replaced (among many cracks throughout that were not fixed correctly). I saw some pics early on of others that glassed theirs in and since there was no way I could get her back to original with my knowledge level or fundage, I decided to do it to mine. I like the look. Couldn't get the seams even no matter how hard I tried anyway. One thing I did that I didn't see on the other posts was to pump epoxy into the gap before I started filling the valleys with glass. I was hoping it would add a little more strength to it. If I ever have to replace a bumper I've set myself up for a bunch more work tho. One thing for sure, I couldn't have done a project to this level without this forum. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Boss wheels. Razor blades got me down to the bondo layer and a full roll of 80 grit for the rest. In hindsight should've used 40 but this is my first glass experience and I was worried about the obvious...
