Default 427 Pulley questions

I'm looking for pulleys for a 68 427/435 engine (non A/C and non Pwr Steering). The 1968 Corvette Assembly Manual lists the water pump pulley as part# 3890419 and the crankshaft pulley as part# 3850838.

Can anyone tell me if these part numbers are the same for the 327 engine and the 427/435 engine? I thought the pulleys for the big blocks were deeper than those for the small blocks.

Thanks much.

Ted

If you found the pulley part numbers in the AIM in the big block section, it is likely the pullies are big block only. If the same pullies were used on the small blocks, the AIM usually says "Installs same as production" with "production" meaning the base engine small block.

I found the 427 section (thanks).

Looks like different part#'s for the different size engines: 427 water pump pulley part# 3889373 and 427 crankshaft pulley part# 3921923.

Thanks again.

The pulleys were deep groove though 1974 454 had their own BB part number. Smog pump pulley is high dollar item for an original.

I've seen a few NOS floating around .
