Great procession of images to show how well the car cleaned up. Love the color but then again, I am biased.

Where did the tow-truck take it afterwards? Parade lap?

And so it goes, another C3, dug out of a cluttered garage and with that wash, there is a glimmer of hope, a vision of what it might be. And then the real work starts!

i was really surprised their wasnt more damage done to it - It needs a paint job but looks good for being buried 28 years. Some sort of corrosive gone on the vent cover by the front window, not sure what that could of been - me uncle and his boy are going to help me ( teach me how) to get it running. and keep it running.

For that area that suffered damage, a good automotive paint supply store, can mix you up a spray can of custom paint to temporarily redo that one section. They wanted to know the year and correct paint code, as well as bringing in a sample to match the fading. I brought in one of the T-tops and they got it really close!

Buy some Acetone, while you're there, so you can wipe the area clean after you sand and prep, just that square behind the hood and I'd paint the whole section, not just one spot. Finally, you'd be surprised what a wet sanding with very fine sandpaper, followed by polishing compound, can do for the rest. You might not have to paint it for awhile. A little patina, doesn't hurt none.

Looks great. I'd wet sand it and polish it like poster above mentioned.

Whats the interior like? That is a nice blue color. Condition?

If it spent those last 28 years inside dry storage the underside should be nice as well.

More pics!

Very pretty color combination. Very nice to see it being saved. It looks like a SBC/4 speed, with AC. Pretty cool. Mileage looks like 48,203, not bad considering my 72 has sat most of its life and it just rolled 50,000 last year.

Default Chrome wiper door and grill

How common is the chrome wiper door and grill. Mine is chrome as well, and I have not seen to many others.
