Default AC Delco Scissor Jack

Some time ago there was a post on a replacement C3 Jack available from O'Reilly Auto Parts. It was suggested that an AC Delco jack might fit in the compartment. Just wondering if anyone has purchased and does it fit in a 69. The O'Reilly part number is 34111. Looks like a good, sturdy option to a pricy original.

Be careful.......my friend was killed when changing a tire.....the spare somehow was wedged.....he went under the car to shake it free and the scissor jack leaned causing the car to fall and crush his chest. (Sad to say, he didn't know to remove the spare before using the scissor jack).

Now I always have a mini floor jack (light/takes up very little space) in all my vehicles for uneven/soft/gravely ground when no parking lots are nearby. My scissor jack is for "looks only".

Hi J,
It appears the base is wider than the original so that might cause an interference with the bottom of the jack compartment fiberboard tray.
The wider base does make the jack a little more stable though.
So?
Regards,
Alan

The 34111 fits in my '77 with room for the tray insert also. It is more stable than my stock C3 jack. mike...
