Nice car.

Ive never seen those tires before. Check the manufacturing date codes on them before you get to far down the road.

EDIT #2: I have no idea why "tires" in my line of text is a link to wallymart. Odd. Sorry.

I'll keep them on for winter storage and will replace them with a nice set of new BFG T/A's or the like in the Spring...

Congrats to you and the new owner! What are you replacing it with, if anything?

Yes, the 68-72 date frame meant less and less to me the more I researched the '73 and took an appeal to the one and only transitional design year.

I'm an official '73 Vette fan.

Thanks Tim! There is no doubt in my mind that like nice examples like this one and yours shown in your post can only trend higher with tide of the earlier years. The '73's uniqueness just adds to its appeal, IMHO.

Me too! Yes this one is over the top in cleanliness. You could eat off it from top to bottom.

Let's just say I am having it insured for an agreed value of $29K to protect my investment, or heaven forbid if I would need to replace it with one in equal condition.

Thans Steve! Proud to be a new member (and life) member of the '73 club. Yes, I am never selling this find, something my kids will be happy to learn so they can have a chance at it....
