Default Cooper Cobra Radial GT

Installed (4) new tires: Cooper Cobra Radial GT

I was hesitant to purchase them initially through Ebay, but after having them balanced and aligned properly....OMG! They have greater traction with the road than any previous tire I have had. I highly recommend them.

Below are pictures of right after the install, and when I had the trim rings put back on.

I have about 20000 miles on the same tires on my 79. No complaints!

I had a set of these on my 65 mustang, heck it has been 25 years. And I remember even back then that they were incredible tires for the money. They replaced the old bias ply tires that were on the Mustang when I purchased it. I can still remember how much better they "tracked" than the old bias ply! I like that they retain the old-school muscle car look.

Just put set of these on the 67 camaro, great bargin on Fleabay especially for something that only gets driven 20 miles per year!

Seem to be a great tire, much better than the 20 year old brand new Tiger Paws they replaced.

How do they compare to the BFGs?

Checked into them, seems very comparable for alot less money. I also like the tread pattern better too.

I installed these on my 70. The car had BFG's on it, but after sitting in a trailer for years, they developed a flat spot. The Cooper Cobras were almost half of the cost with the same performance. Plus, they look just as good as the BFG's!

I have a set of these on my car. Flat spots on all 4 tires. They are in new condition but unusable. BFG next.

Check Pep Boys futura brand. That is the brand I always ran when using 265/50

I've got Coopers on mine, no complaints. The rears are getting old and I'll replace them with more Coopers.

I have the Cooper Cobras on one of my cars (not the Vette). I also think they're great tires. Pep Boys Futura GLE is a Cooper Cobra simply rebranded...a slight change in tread pattern and the name on the sidewalk are about the only differences.

I ordered mine to replace the Goodyear Eagle GTII's that were on when I bought it. After running the date code, they were 12 YEARS OLD!!!

I would highly recommend checking the date codes on your tire for anyone who is unsure! I have heard to many horror stories of the old tires blowing on the road and a wrecked dream shortly thereafter...

The PO had installed a set of Cooper Cobras on my '81. I didn't think that I would like them. They have really been a good set of tires though.

Stupid tires.

I can't spin my wheels like I did before. They grab way to much. Now I have to up my horsepower to make noise. Damn.

They do look good though.

My Avalanche needs tires now, guess what I will be getting
