Default New weather stripping on 75 convertible

Assistance would be appreciated. I am getting ready to install new weather stripping on the doors of my 75 convertible. The car did not have weather stripping on it when I bought it due to it being painted. I purchased the AIM for the car, but I would love to have some actual pictures of the doors and the weather stripping as a reference point. If you have a convertible and would like to share some pictures of the doors, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are on our facebook page, I just posted up a bunch of convertible door weatherstrip install pictures for you. We just did this job on car in our shop so I snapped some pics for you.

I'm not sure, but you may have to Like the page to see the pictures. https://www.facebook.com/WillcoxCorvette

This is perfect. This will help me a lot. Now question. On the picture I posted, what are the parts I have numbered 1,2 and 3? I did not have anything between the door panel and the inter-door.

Thanks again for taking the time to send the pictures and the video.

1 is the upper hinge cover, 2 is the metal on the door painted black (we didn't do this, the customer did) and 3 is the forward end of the weatherstrip. Did you watch the video I put up on facebook? It'll show you even better.

I can't post this to Youtube, I don't have the camera or the file with me at the moment. I'll do this tomorrow or Monday.

Thanks for the reply. I did watch the video and it helps a lot. Does a 75 convertible need the upper hinge cover or is the only thing that goes on the door is the one piece of weather stripping?

I really appreciate your help.

You should already have the hinge cover.. you'll need it. But it has no play on installing the weatherstrip.
