Default Any forum 1971 454 vert automatic cars?

I'd like to sync up with any forum members who might own a 71 454 all original vert with auto, PS,PB,PW and tilt. I'm convinced this car is super rare and might even be declared extinct 😄

Speculation from playing with Black Book numbers.

Yeah, statistically we can get any number we like.
Throw in the WBY with all the other options and there should only be 3 other cars exactly like the OP.

The AC, PB, & PS actually hurt the "super rare"ity as each of those options occurred on more than half of 71 production. So, I wouldn't expect to find ANY WBY, LS5, conv, with AT, PW, & AT but without AC, PB, & PS.

It may not be. There is no data to support the 178 claim. GM did not track options combinations.

Oh well......it's fun to guess anywho

Just wanted to add.......regardless of the number made from 1970 up very few of those that survived have the original drive train . 454 cars were a small percentage of cars built from these years to begin with. Most were blown up and stuffed with whatever BB could be found to put them back in service.

Speculation is often amusing. Take your car and its options. Grab the Black Book. Start doing the percentages. Eventually you are likely to find your car is one of only one.

Default I did the math via black book

the percentages do not make too much sense, I came up with 4 produced with the same color and options. Maybe wieghted average, like a math test would work.

1970 454 convert., AT,PS,PB, Donnybrook Green, green interior, white top, stero, highway gearing,pos.trac., with full doc.s.
