Nice looking 69. Good shots too. Exhaust is a little wonky on one side but car looks nice.
On a side note, I would have a cow if I saw my car going down the road held down by straps thrown over the tires!! I guess that's how they do it but I have never noticed it.

That is how they strap them down, it lets the suspension wok as intended. Some years ago I shipped a coupe of street rods and the movers tied them down by the axles and both had suspension damaged. In the past couple of year when shipping my vette by slider they used the above method and no damage.

Believe it or not this is much safer. When you tie a car down using the suspension unless the suspension is compressed all the way down (which is just about impossible and you wouldn't want that anyway) the suspension movement will loosen the tie downs. Now on cars with stiff suspensions and using 4 straps cross them from side to side it's not as much of an issue but using the tires allows the suspension to soak up the ride.

1969 convertibles are such pretty cars. But, I feel like they look off with the chrome rocker panel moldings.
Looks like LeMans Blue, which is a color option for '69. The stingray badge looks stock to me too?
That's an angle you don't get to see a corvette at too often, thanks for the share DG.

Actually......the last time I told my wife to grab the camera, she wouldn't do it (no-o-o-o-o.....not "that kind" of pics).....
I told her to be ready in case a bear crossed the road near Gatlinburg (we had visited there every year for ten years and never saw a bear).
She said "The Ranger told us that the bears don't appear until after 3 p.m.----it's only 2:55p.m.!!!!
She didn't get those words out of her mouth "good" when the first huge black bear that we had ever seen jumped out in front of our car!
"I TOLD YOU TO GET THE CAMERA....I GUESS THE BEARS'S WATCH WAS 5 MINUTES FAST!!!!!!
She didn't speak to me for two days.....It turned out to be a relaxing/peaceful vacation.

OK, so did this LeMans Blue become Mulsanne Blue later?
Also, is/was Marina Blue similar?
Guess I need to get schooled on my early C3 Blue color names.
Another curiosity is to learn about the LT-1's characteristics, and years installed.
Same for the L82 - of which I owned a '77 L82. More chrome under the hood, valve covers in alloy or chrome-look, as I remember.
