Kwiklift jack question
Got my Kwiklift set up in the garage last weekend. My car seems to be very happy on it and I thoroughly enjoy not wondering if the car will fall on me when working underneath.
What I dint anticipate was that my floor jack is just a little too short when fully raised to allow the legs to pivot into position. A chunk of 2 X 4 on the jack saddle did the job but I imagine I can do better.
What are others using to raise their Kwiklift?

I just have a large floor jack that I bought in pep boys I think. You should have a good jack for it and not use wood to make up the height because of the round mounting point.

I would shop around for a different floor jack. Most sources give the minimum and maximum heights for the jacks they're selling. You should be able to find a reasonably-priced one that has the height you need for the Kwik-Lift. Got rid of my Kwik-Lift, but I seem to remember it was around 19"-20".
