Default got 'er done

I finished off my half shaft U-joints and PSCV and slave cylinder today.

I logged 57 hours from the time I rolled it on the hoist. Not shop flat rate time that's for sure.

But I know a lot more now than I did when I started. Never had anything to do with power steering before.

And if you ever have a problem with one of the components, you won't be stuck in a hotel waiting for the mechanic to repair the car......because you can do-it-yourself!

I have a compact toolbox with everything I need to repair my car...including a pickle-fork and a bearing puller.....my rookie-security-kit!

"Flat rate" doesn't exist for those of us who work on our own cars.
If I had a certain deadline to accomplish tasks on my cars, the fun factor would be shut down.
This is a hobby, when it no longer is, I'm out.
Good job, getting it done.

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate the support believe me. There sure is a feeling of satisfaction when you accomplish a task like this.

I can look in the mirror and say, "Larry, you're a cleaver Monkey!"
