Anyone interested in going to Cars N' Coffee in Irvine this coming Saturday?
Unfortunately, Cars N' Coffee is scheduled to shutdown by the end of this month. I'm planning to make one last visit this coming Saturday and was hoping a few other C3s may be interested in going. Anyone interested?

I read an article that said there were too many people behaving like a@@holes, ie, doing burnouts and spectators egging drivers on to do burnouts. We had the same problem in the Charlotte area causing Cars and Coffee to get kicked out of one location and then almost kicked out of our second location. Fortunately they gave us a 2nd chance and for the time being we still have C&C first Saturday of the month. There is a nice video of an idiot in a Mustang leaving the event, losing control of his car and running into a pole (or a tree). Not caught on video was a guy I saw a few weeks earlier losing control of his Cobra and doing a 180, fortunately sliding to a stop before he hit a brick wall.
in fact, here it is... I guess he didn't hit a tree/pole after all. Looks like he could have taken out the fire hydrant, but I don't see water spraying.
This should be titled, "How to Get Cars and Coffee Cancelled"

What time do you plan on hitting the road? I've never been but have heard allot about it. Heard you have to be there pretty early. Let me know the details.

Its actually pretty cool, usually there's a good turn out with a really great selection of cars. People start rolling in early and by 6:30 AM, the lot is pretty full. I'm planning to leave the house by 5:00 AM by way of the 5. Are you guys in?

Great turn out this morning. All lots were full and there were plenty of great cars to look at. imariver, doug77, stingray Ronnie and myself made a final showing representing the California Stingrays. Too bad this landmark is shutting down... although rumor has it that it may reopen soon at el toro.

Yes, this vette was a regular at CnC as was Barry McGuire, from McGuire's car care products. He too was in attendance today. There always was a good representation of our cars at most Saturday shows.
