My first Corvette since '85!
I just brought home my first Corvette since 1985. I have always loved the C3 and I bought a 1973 project. It runs. Needs paint and some interior work but otherwise a pretty solid car. Only 48k miles on it but it has been sitting for a while. It has the L48 motor and A/C and it seems to be a fairly original car. I'm pretty stoked about it! Starting in '75, I owned a '72 T-top, a '75 t-top and a '69 L-89 convertible that I sold about '85 to buy my first home. When I sold it for $4800, it had been stripped, primered, block sanded, and ready to paint, didn't have wheels, and wouldn't run because the fuel pump went bad. That fully restored car now sits in Rick Hendricks private museum in Mooresville, NC. I sure wish I had that one back!

Congrats on that one,
Sometimes I wish I had my first vette a 72 bb vert back, but even 30 years ago it wasn't in as good a shape as the 69 I have now to correct the mistake of selling the 72,
I had a few calls many years back people hunting parts for my old 72 they hoped I had the original stuff that was gone when I got it.
