Default Looking for a gas tank with fuel pump

I need to replace my gas tank and am looking to go ahead and convert to EFI.

Can anyone recommend a good tank that potentially already has a fuel pump setup included? Hoping for something as "drop in" as possible.

Thanks a lot for any info anyone has.

Had this been available when I started mine it would be in my car. I had to make my own setup.

I have used their tanks many times they are very well made. I just ordered one for my 64 roadster LS1 swap. I will also mention when you run your fuel line use Teflon or PTFE hose. I use the one with braided steel cover. Todays fuel are not nice to rubber fuel hose. I learned the hard way.

Funny you should say that. My first fuel injection setup I ran braided line from the tank forward. OMG the garage stunk so bad from fuel bleeding through the lines. I will never run braided line again. Right now I am using some Twist Loc line. I use as little as possible and with the current LS setup I have no fuel smell.

I went with a pump to drop in the stock tank, but you sound like you want less fabrication. Just a suggestion, decide on what EFI first so you can get a pump/regulator to match. And, as long as the discussion is on fuel lines, I like the Nylon, or copper nickle alloy, but that's just me. I always was a little different.
Good Luck

I am doing a stock TPI l98 in my 78. Purchased a stock 78 fuel tank, a 82 fuel sender unit and an 86 in tank fuel pump. I am running nylon line for the return ( maybe even do the supply the same way). The 82 sender has 3 wires coing out the top for the pump and the sender. And the sender I got on ebay was stainless with the 5/16, 3/8 and 1/4 lines coiming out the top. No fabbing necessary for that.

Thanks for the reference.

Anyone have thoughts about a fuel pump recommendation for my 70 project car? I don't know if I'll run it with carbs or a EFI. Is there a fuel pump compatible for either? It'll have a 496 or 502 engine. I have a Quanta repro tank. It's never been wetted with gasoline, so it'd be easy to have someone weld in provisions for an internal submerged fuel pump.

It is a matter of pressure and volume. A carb can run on 7psi, injection setups run from 15 to 60psi. You would need a regulator with any of them, but a 20psi pump will not run a 40psi injection unit. The volume of the pump should meet your horsepower needs no matter the pressure. If you run any extremely oversize pump you just recycle the fuel too much and add heat.
