Three things I'd like ideas on doing is carbon fiber center console , maybe a small layer of carbon fiber over the top of my ttops, and some carbon fiber accessory fake vents

T tops or a one piece roof made out of carbon fiber would be nice.

If it isn't real carbon fiber I wouldn't want it. I'm not into that fake stuff

I feel the same. But if someone likes the look and are fine with the fake stuff then I won't judge too much.

real carbon fiber is a ton more expensive tho.. especially for my interior parts i think the fake stuff is really what I need.

sorry I don't see decals or hydro-whatever as "fake" anything, be it the pattern of carbon fiber, or fire, or a logo.....etc,
It's a styling touch akin to your fender hash marks...

I've messed w/ some carbon fiber stuff-plan on doing some more...

Only thing I was happy making was a heat shield for the firewall.

Valve covers didn't come out as good as I wanted not did the engine cover...

And these were painted...not as cool as Brack c's stuff...

I work on a c7 at work that has real carbon fiber wrapped interior pieces. It looks 100 times better than the optional cf parts from gm. Next time he brings it in I'll take pictures.

Bats , you know where I'm coming from ....LOL

Qwank , I'm not saying they don't . I sure they look good .
BUT , given the amount of trim pieces , molding , brackets , etc that I had done on my car..... Using Hydrographics was a more feasible option .

Sorry...I still do not see the hydrographics as a bad thing, especially used on trim items, I am assuming it costs way less than the real stuff in this apt and doesnt everything the "real" stuff does...

they sell carbon fiber looking sbc valve covers and air filter cover and real ones too if you google it you'll find some with chevy print on it. Me personally I would do t tops carbon fiber layer on top, rocker molding, door sills, chrome to cf bumpers (if applicable), front spoiler, cf hood and everything brackc did

I think a Custom C3 with a carbon fiber body, and C7 suspension and drivetrain would be awesome. If I win the lottery, I'm having it built.

here are my carbon ttops (work in progress)
they are stock 78-82 fiberglass tops skinned with carbon fiber over a black basecoat.
still need to sand the resin to flatten it a bit and I'll clearcoat them.
don't know if I'll go with a glossy or satin clear

I'll have a few interior parts carbon covered too.
