Heat/Defrost Flap
I just replaced the Heat, Defrost, Temperature trim plate on the shifter console. Does anybody have a picture of the 68 heater housing that shows where the heat and defrost flap is? Mine sticks a little and I would like to lube it up. I'm thinking about a spray of WD 40 with a thin plastic tube down the defroster or up the heater if I have to. It should dry by the spring time. Thanks,

Spraying ANYTHING down/into the ducts will bite you later on....just ask my wife!
I think the flapper/door hinge is directly behind and slightly above the rear of the radio housing.
If you could get a light to shine back there on the cable end and hinge, you could use the spary nozzle-with-tube to direct WD40 onto the hinge itself/work the controls back and forth/respray the cable ends & hinge if needed.
