Default 68 Ignition switch wiring help...

I am installing a new ignition switch in my 68. The existing switch can be turned with anything including a screwdriver so I bought a new switch and am installing it. But I noticed there is a spade terminal on both the old and new switch marked "ground" but there is not a corressponding connection to receive this ground terminal on the ignition wiring plug from the harness (although the plug has space for a wire and connector but is empty)??? Is this to be left unused or did Bubba somewhere along the line remove it?? There are seven spade terminals on the ignition switch as follows:
1) ign
2)sol
3)acc
4)bat
5)key-
6)key+
7)grd ???

Thanks, Tom.
