Default Need help identifying part
I found this part in one of the boxes that came with the 68 vert that I'm restoring. Can someone help me and tell me what it is? Thanks

Hi,

Google shows that part number as a water pump housing for a boat!

It appears to have been 'sleeved'!
Do boats have 'brakes'????

Put it on the shelf, re-build the Vett. If it's still on the shelf after the Vett is rebuilt, throw it away!

Its an impeller housing for a Mercruiser Alpha outdrive. Gotta do mine in the spring.
