Me or Mr. Bats would drive this anywhere, just saying, old school stuff.
I really like it a lot the same way a purist gets all warm and fuzzy over getting their correct nut/bolt or over spray just right to look just like the next guy with a box stock ride...
Yes, it would make me all a tingle to drive this out to the cruise sat night

It's all in good fun...if they didn't have a sweet custom to bash they would get all bored
I do wonder is this a hell of a sweet kept old built survivor or a newer custom built to look old school cool.

Notice the updated mirrors and the chrome roll-bar, nice stuff.
Real deal, not a fake, but a nice survivor, great interior work also, lost art.

Well.....
(nope, not me, I am from the late sixties/seventies, but never quite this bad from what I remember anyways, LOL's! This dude would look good in the 72 Corvette above though, eh? As my friend used to say, if you go out partying with this guy, you won't be married when you come home)

Sad? Not in the least.
The only thing I would change would be the mirrors and rims and I would have myself one BAMF!
Just because it doesn't have 22" rims and isn't lowered to a 1/4" off the ground, does not mean it is not a desirable car.
I bet you that this guy actually drove and enjoyed this car instead of hiding it in his garage waiting for the magic car value angels to come and increase the value of his car.
