Put tranny back in car. New clutch. Reconnected shifter. I can shift in 1, 2, 3, and 4. But no reverse. Any ideas as to why?

Not enough information . Did it work fine before you changed the clutch ? Did you change the adjustment on the rods ? Did you forget to put the reverse lever back on ? Pictures might help.

What do you mean by no reverse? Will the shifter go into reverse, but the car doesn't move. Will the shifter not go into reverse? If it does go into reverse and you let the clutch out, does the car slip, or bog?
What year car is it?
Does it have the stock shifter, or aftermarket?

Did you do anything with the shifter other than detaching the levers from the tranny?

Are you sure the clutch is releasing completely? Put it in first gear and depress the clutch, see if you (or a helper) can roll the car. Or if it's on stands see if you can rotate the back tires.
